“Just lie back down,” Finn whispers. He’s cradling me with his hands, guiding me back down on the bed.

We’re blinking at each other. My heart begins to race because it appears he’s on the verge of doing something I thought he’d never do when his eyes pans down from my face to my toes.

He places a hand on my abdomen. It finally dawns on me that he’s able see my skin past the sweater material. The sound of his intake and outtake of breath fills the cab.

“Finn,” I ask, wondering if he’s going to be okay.

“I’m sorry,” he breathes. “It’s…”

He lifts the hem of my sweater and his hands caress my belly. What a gentle touch he has. It’s almost as if he’s discovering skin for the first time.

“What are you made of?” he asks. “You’re not flesh.”

My mouth is caught agape. Not because I’m surprised that he said that. I just can’t get over how out-of-this world divine his hand feels on my stomach. Upton had a fantastic touch, but this I can hardly explain.

Slowly he lifts my sweater. He hesitates and glances into my eyes before continuing on until my nipples, which are standing firm in the red lace bra, are exposed. He’s studying them as if they’re the most interesting portrait in the art gallery.

“May I?” he breathes, looking into my eyes.

My voice cracks as I whisper, “Yes.”

He starts by sliding a finger around the hard nipple until he’s stroking the flesh it rests on. A growl escapes his throat. Suddenly those two fangs in his mouth grow right before my eyes. I wonder if he’s going to bite me. I would let him if he wanted to. I would give in to him one-hundred percent.

But instead, he lowers his mouth down to my nipple and instantly his warm tongue makes the nerves inside of it tingle. Now it’s me who’s panting louder than he is. Especially when he finally pulls the lace material from over my skin and now his lips, tongue and teeth are working in unison to make me throb all over.

“What are you?” he whispers.

I’m unable to say a word because of how this feels. As his lips slide up my neck to my mouth, his hands massage my breasts. The covered one and the uncovered one. Once again, he does the strangest thing after his tongue tastes my tongue. He pauses and crimps his brows.

I hate that he stops, especially since my entire body aches for more of him. I want him to enter me at last, but he’s far away from that. I’m fully dressed. Although I can feel how hard he is against my thigh, he’s fully dressed too. When guys get to the point he’s at now, they usually can’t get their pants unzipped fast enough. Not Finn though. He is in discovery mode. I wonder if he’s a virgin. No way. Or, like he said, maybe he’s just old-fashioned and is fighting against “lust” at the moment.

He’s nibbling on my chin as his hands slide back down my stomach and down into my pants to touch me there.
